What is OpenBox?

OpenBox is a revolutionary framework for creating and deploying software-defined network-functions. More information will be posted here soon.

The OpenBox Project

The OpenBox Project presents implementations for the OpenBox data plane entities named OpenBox Service Instances (or OBI, or OBSI), and for the Moonlight OpenBox Controller. These implementations are open-source, and they are available on our github page.

Installing OpenBox

OpenBox software is easy to install. Instructions will be available soon in all repositories. In addition, a simple installation script will be available for installing everything required inside a Mininet VM, so you could play with and test your OpenBox applications as if they were deployed in a large-scale network.
